Starflower

Lysimachia latifolia

Starflower is a low-lying, creeping perennial reaching 5-30 cm in height. The flat whorl of bright green leaves, 4-7 in number, grows from a single thin stem. The flower typically blooms from the center of the leaf whorl; it is only occasionally that there is more than one flower per whorl.
